Media in English completed a media training and crisis communications program for three senior executives at InterContinental Hotels Group. Their hotel chain includes: Inter-Continental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Express.

American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands video

Media in English is the first company to produce an Investors' Agenda of Priority Points video for the American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands (AmCham).

 

The well-received video was designed as an attention-getting opening for the Investors' Agenda of Priority Points 2004 live, PowerPoint presentation to the Dutch Government and the Press. The December 2003 event introduced policy suggestions and initiatives to make the country more attractive to foreign investors.

Corporate sales video for TNT Logistics

Media in English produced a short corporate video for Roberto Rossi, Group Managing Director Logistics for TNT Logistics, a division of TPG N.V.

 

The Media in English team wrote, shot and edited the presentation; delivering it in broadcast quality DVD video format.

Serving as an introduction to a sales meeting in Australia, the presentation was well-received.

The one-day workshop, “Crisis Communications Management: Are you Crisis Prepared or Crisis Prone?,” was, presented on 28 February 2007 by Managing Director Rudi Goldman and Training Associate Suzan Pecyna, as part of 5-day conference held from 25 February – 1 March 2007 in Dubai, U.A.E.

Attendees were communications directors, managers and specialists from companies located in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Oman, Egypt and Pakistan.

Moderator training for the first- ever webcast - World Bank Development Economics-Europe Conference

Media in English provided training support to the World Bank and Paris-based webcaster canalweb SA. For the first time in history, the World Bank's Third Annual Bank Conference on Development Economics-Europe aired live on the Web.

 

The conference, known as ABCDE On Line 2001, featured live discussion on "New Perspectives on Development." It was attended by 1800 people in 80 countries, who sent in hundreds of questions via e-mail.

 

Guests included: World Bank President James Wolfensohn, Joan Clos, Mayor of Barcelona, Willem Buiter, Chief Economist, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Riccardo Faini, Head of the Economic Analysis Department, Ministry of Treasury, Italy, Nicholas Stern, Senior Vice President, Chief Economist, World Bank and Jean-Marie Messier, CEO, Vivendi Universal, France.

 

Media in English provided on-camera presenter training to the World Bank chosen moderators and first-time television presenters Prof. Xavier Salla i Martin & Elkyn Chaparro.
